In September 2025, Cora joined hundreds of thousands of others in the street to march in the Trillion Peso March against corruption. The flood control corruption scandal outraged Filipinos throughout the country and around the world, when it was exposed that government officials and contractors pocketed taxpayer funds meant for flood control projects. 

On the 40th Anniversary of EDSA People Power, Filipinos continue to demand accountability. Marikina resident Cora recounts her memories of flooding as a child, Typhoon Ondoy, and calls for Filipinos to join the fight against corruption.
